Mobile App Navigation
Navigation Tabs
After logging in to your Mobile Banking App, you'll be able to navigate to different sections using the 4 tabs along the bottom of your screen. These tabs and the features included within them are laid out below:
Accounts
This tab will list all of our accounts and their balances. You can tap on an account to view the transaction history and view details about the account.
Your accounts will be categorized and totaled by their type. For example, all chequing accounts will be grouped together, then all savings accounts are grouped together, and so on. You can collapse any of these groups by tapping the circular arrow icon in the top right corner of the group.
To change the order in which these groups are listed, scroll to the bottom of the accounts page and select Sort Accounts.
Pay and Transfer
This tab has a variety of options:
View your scheduled transactions
- Displays a calendar view with coloured circles showing on days that a future dated payment or transfer will occur
- You can tap on a day to add a new transaction or view transactions that were previously configured
- If you prefer to view the transactions in a list instead of calendar view, you can switch between them using the List View and Calendar View options near the top of your screen.
Pay a Bill
- View and make payments to your list of existing bill payees
- The Add Payee button allows you to submit a request to our branch to have a payee added. The new payee will be available to pay through online banking the following business day. If you need to pay a bill urgently, please contact our branch
- Swipe right to left over an existing payee to delete it
Deposit a Cheque
- Remotely deposit a cheque using our Deposit Anywhere service. Simply enter the amount of the cheque, take a picture of the front and back of the cheque, and submit. For more information, refer to our Remote Deposit Capture knowledgebase article
Transfer
- Create immediate, future-dated or recurring transfers to move money between your OCCU accounts.
Transfer via INTERAC® e-Transfer
- Send money using an email address or mobile phone number
- Request Money
- View your previously sent and pending e-Transfers
- Add new recipients, edit or delete your existing e-Transfer recipients
- Import new e-Transfer recipients from your mobile device's contact list
Branches/ATMs
This tab is used to locate our branch and find surcharge-free Exchange Network ATMs near you.
More Actions
Security Settings
- Change your security questions
- Change your online banking password
- Utilize your mobile device's Biometric capabilities to allow you to sign into online banking using your fingerprint or facial scan.
- Enable, edit or disable your QuickView settings. This allows you to see your account balances without signing in
Messages
- View important messages sent by OCCU
Logout
- Use this button to end your online banking session and return to the login screen. We recommend using the logout button whenever you're finished with your banking session. The mobile apps will sign you out automatically after 15 minutes without activity
INTERAC® Profile
- Used to create or edit the profile you use to send and receive Interac e-Transfers
INTERAC® e-Transfer Autodeposit
- Used to register an email for Autodeposit or change your existing registration

- This section holds various links that you may find helpful on our website. Tapping any of these links will open the related page on our website
Contact Us
- Displays our branch hours, contact information and links to our social media
- Select Call us to open your phone's dialing screen
- Select Find Us to view our branch and ATM locations on a map
